This session aims to educate general education teachers about the use of learning modifications in the general education classroom. With the rise of blended settings and co-teaching, many teachers are expected to support diverse learners in the general education setting. We will introduce the difference between accommodations and modifications, explore the nine different types of modifications, and then apply our learning while making modifications to a lesson or unit we already use in our classrooms.
