About me
All students deserve a great education. To make that happen, I work with educational leaders to enhance district and school transformation efforts. I specialize in helping educators focus on the changes to leadership, instruction, professional learning networks, and climate and culture that propel student growth and reduce inequities. I guide leaders in using systems, strategies, and practices that make implementation come alive and truly advance the success of the schools.
Since 2000, I have had the opportunity to successfully support school improvement efforts in districts across the country. In that time, almost every single school and district I've worked with has made gains in student achievement and educator effectiveness. I help foster that growth through coaching and professional learning for administrators, teachers, and parents and community members. In addition, I am a reading specialist who started coaching when working for Dr. Timothy Shanahan at the UIC Center for Literacy.
